Our facility in Jericho, VT, offers a dynamic environment where your dog can engage in structured play periods, ensuring they receive both physical and mental stimulation. Play and socialization are key elements for a balanced and happy pup. Due to the structured nature of the playgroup, your dog will learn basic obedience and "manners" while in the care of Mansfield Kennels, ensuring your pooch returns home happy, tired, and well-behaved.
Understanding the importance of balance, we also incorporate rest periods into the daily schedule to allow your dog to relax and recharge in our cozy, comfortable resting areas. For dogs that thrive on individual attention, we offer one-on-one time with our caregivers, ensuring that each pet feels loved and valued. Whether your dog is here to make new friends, learn new tricks, or simply enjoy a day of play, Mansfield Kennels provides a nurturing and engaging atmosphere where your furry family member can flourish.

DAY BOARD
Saturday and Sunday (Numbers dependent)
We also offer "day boarding" on the weekends for owners who may have a busy day of errands or want to hit the ski slopes guilt free! Dogs who come for a day board will enjoy time out of their crates for 2-3 hours in the morning and afternoon, with a longer break period in the middle of the day, ~3 hours. When your dog day boards with us they will either get to romp with friends, go for off-campus walks, or get personalized play time like tug or fetch, or sometimes all three!

Who can come to daycare?
At Mansfield Kennels, we welcome dogs that are at least 4 to 6 months old to join our daycare program. This minimum age requirement ensures that puppies have received their initial vaccinations and have reached a certain level of physical and behavioral maturity before participating in group play settings.
In addition to meeting the age requirement, we also require all dogs to be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. Spaying or neutering is strongly recommended but not mandatory for daycare attendance.

Before enrolling your dog in our daycare program, we conduct a temperament assessment, (Trial Day), to ensure that each dog is well-socialized and can interact safely with other dogs in our care. Our priority is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where every dog can thrive.
